Description

The Majortech MT574 5KV Insulation Tester starts with a safer 100V setting with increments of 50V which gives you more control over your test.  The unit will automatically discharge the circuit after the test has been completed helping you stay safe.

For further ease of use, the range button includes 6 preset ranges of 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V, 2500V and 5000V. The tester has an insulation resistance up to 10TOhm so you get better clarity on insulation.

The microprocessor controlled MT574 gives you a more versatile diagnostic tool and is intended for testing insulation:

• On Rotating Machines & Transformers,
• Cables, High Voltage Generators,
• Electric Circuits & Surge Arrestors.

The short circuit current output is up to 6mA, again for safety purposes.

The Majortech MT574 has the ability to measure Absorption Ratio and Polarization Index of AC voltage and DC voltage which helps troubleshoot more complex insulation related problems.

• output voltage and output current.
• The MT574 as meter can also measure up to 750V AC and up to 1000V DC.
• Capacitance up to 50μF,

The Majortech MT574 is housed in a robust case which is ideal for extended field use.  It includes a 12.6V rechargeable Lithium Battery pack.

Up to 500 test measurement results can be saved for later records and can be displayed for in field analysis. Stored data can be transferred to a PC using an optical USB and software supplied which is perfect for post analysis and reporting ability.
