Description
The Majortech MT577 10KV Insulation Tester is rated DC CAT III 300V and starts with a safer 250V setting with increments of 50V which gives you more control over your test. The unit will automatically discharge the circuit after the test has been completed helping you stay safe.
For further ease of use, the range button includes 6 preset ranges of 250V, 500V, 1000V, 2500V, 5kV and 10kV. The tester has an insulation resistance up to 35TOhm so you get better clarity on insulation.
The microprocessor controlled Majortech MT577 gives you a more versatile diagnostic tool and is intended for testing insulation:
- On Rotating Machines & Transformers,
- Cables, High Voltage Generators,
- Electric Circuits & Surge Arrestors.
The short circuit current output is up to 6mA, again for safety purposes.
